Why would I want to do that. You already are only going to offer any decent service to those shoppers that fully support your business and aren't customers of Nashbar or Colorado Cyclist etc.

I log in at www.cyclingforums.com then I click on Cycling Equipment and then rec.bicycles.tech.

Feel free to ignore other bike shoppers that want to compare prives, service, etc. with your local bike shop since you only appear to offer good service to those who are your regulars.

You are FOS. We assemble bicycles that come to us as frames and component groups, all in boxes, all
the time. Most of these come from MO. We do the best job we can and charge a fair labor rate. Please
don't try to characterize my shop with your tired and innaccurate miscnceptions.

David, I strongly suggest that you take the trip. Muzi's shop is a wonderful thing to see, being
packed to the rafters with all sorts of stuff quite interesting to those of us who like bikes and
bicycling. Even better, it's a real shop complete with mechanics who know how to fix things, even
frames, which I'm sad to say is nowadays a rare feature.

Andy Muzi in person is reassuringly similar to his online persona, full of useful information and
generous with his time. Last summer I stopped in there on a cross-country motorcycle trip and he
happily chatted and gave me the tour even though I didn't spend one dime in there.

Competing with mail order/internet places would be easier if they were buying stuff at the same prices as we are, rather than selling so many items essentially at our cost. The grey market dealings only worsen the problem. Though some manufacturers have taken steps to combat this problem, their effectiveness is questionable at best.

And unlike many LBS, Mr. Muzi will fix old commuter bikes for a modest fee (and often on short
notice), and more importantly without the condescending attitude that some have towards anything but
the "latest and greatest".

has most of the NGs. I usually get mine in Outloook Express. Google searching their newsgroups tab
will reveal many, many more NGs than you know what to do with! You wanna waste time talking about

I had a real problem with AOL and having to negotiate my way out of their clutches to get to the
internet proper. I have gotten them out of my computer finally! DO NOT install that free software.
It really gets into the guts of the machine and makes getting it out again a real [censored]!

switch from AOL.

And it gives you more flexibility to use other applications (such as Outlook Express) to read
