Seigneur won solo. Andreu attacked the group, they chased for a little while, then Seigneur attacked and passed Andreu.
It wasn't a sprint finish and Andreu did not finish on the same time, nor did the other 3 guys in the break finish on the same time as Andreu and the peloton wasn't even in sight.
Seems solo to me. Much more solo than Vino's exploit.
Your capacity for self delusion is impressive. What happened to your statement about Konyshev's win, who actually won after a crash in the field sprint?

Thanks. In my opinion, Seigneur's win was similar to Vino's, that is, taking advantage of an earlier kilo effort by someone else. It's as solo as you can get, apart from an ITT.

I don't think they're that similar. Seigneur attacked out of a fragmented break, Vino outpowered the entire peloton for 2k.
Vino's win is probably more impressive, but I think Seigneur's was more solo.
I would agree, but considering the show Vino put on in this rather boring TdF, I was glad he got 5th over chrome dome.

What they should have done is to make clear what the rules of the day were, regardless of whether Vino won solo or whatever else went down - and they should have done so as early as possible, not after the fact. There should have been no delay while the judges juggled a pile of [censored].

you seem to be the only one complaining. i haven't read or heard any team complaining about it, other than saying there was some confusion.
