If you get the Shimano Nexus hub it somes with an auto switch. If you
buy the SON you can keep your existing light as a secondary and make
up a 12V system, which is brilliant - you'd still need a switch
thobut; I used the rubber waterproof handlebar switch from a VistaLite
rechargeable lighting set, which is available as a spare part by
special order (your LBS should be able to get this).
