  1. I am looking for suggestions for a low carb tomato sauce to put on top of
egg plant. By low carb, I mean in the 4 or less per 1/2 cup. Any
suggestions of brand name or perhaps a recipe to share?

    Thanks
    Robert

You have more control if you make your own. Place tomato in food processor,
purify, and throw in crock pot.

  3. Ragu No Sugar Added.. NOT the one marketed as *low carb*.. And it's GOOD..
It's the only sauce from a jar I have never felt the need to add things to
in order to make it taste good.

Classico Spicy Red Pepper has 4 net carbs/.5 cup and no added sugars.
As bottled sauces go it's pretty good if you like an Arrabbiata--there
other flavors vary in carb counts & this is the lowest.

Ragu LC is one. There are also others that are sold as regular sauce,
like Casa Visco, which is 4g per half cup. You just have to read the
    labels.
