  1. Hello
i`m looking for a bicycle bell for a young child with Batman motif. It
is for my nephew, living in Alabama and it is a little bit difficult for
me, because i had to buy it in USA and to pay it from Germany. But i
think, with help from you, it will be possible.

Thanks and best regards from Germany

A bike bell for a boy in Alabama might be the equivalent of naming him
    Sue. :-P

Reminds me, I gotta get something more effective than this lame "ping"
bell. Yesterday there were five pedestrians blocking the entire bike
roadway of the ped/bike bridge, with sidewalks clear on either side. I
rang a dozen times with no reaction, till I simply yelled "bike
BELLLLL" and they finally noticed. I gotta get some of those Batman
    ramming bars for next time.

    Good luck.

I think you need to test that bike's pedestrian deflection ability at
    Fogel Labs!

I haven't used one, but by all accounts it's bloody loud.

Those are obNOXious (and funny). I think it's time to just get a
brrrring brrringgg bell instead of a ping bell. Even a ding dong bell
or a ring-a-ding-ding-ding one would work. I had one of those enormous
rotating monsters on my Raleigh roadster, but I just can't go that
    route on my fixie.

    You need more cowbell:

I usually use my voice (generally, a friendly "heads up!" as I think
more complicated directions are inevitably lost to those in earshot).

BTW, a local bike shop has brass bike bells, and although they aren't
any louder, the tone is beautiful and melodious. The price is rather
    high, though.

Do you have to use the horn with the Ti bike pictured? 😉
