  1. I couldn't find my MPG player.

It's a imitation iPod shuffle. Actually it's probably a real one but
bought from Hong Kong on eBay for about a third of the price of a "real"
one. About the size of a large postage stamp, 6mm thick, weighs nothing
and gives good sound. It also has a clip that lets you attach it to
your clothing leaving your pockets free.

I looked in the pockets of my cycling jerseys, nope, in my Camelback,
nope, in all the junk that accumulates on the kitchen table, nope, on
the fridge, in the cupboards, everywhere, nope.

OK, I know these things turn up after a while, so I waited a week and
searched again, nope. Waited another week and searched again. Nope!

Well it must be really lost. I order one on eBay for a total cost of
about $35 from Hong Kong, pay for it with Paypal.

Murphys Law says that when you've bought a new one the old one will turn
up. I open my cycling cupboard and there RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME is my
shiny black iPod shuffle. Oh well, it won't hurt to have two of them.

Neurons, you mean? Maybe those are available on ebay too :-)

I'm currently going through the same thing with my riding glasses/sunnies... my wife who bought them for me has not cottoned on yet, so I am desperately trying to find them before she asks where they are and I have to answer her. I don't want to have to buy a new pair though 🙁

Similar story here, a nice pair of Rudy Project Rydons. Tell me what
yours look like and I'll let you know if I find them when I'm looking
    for mine 🙂

Rudy Projects here also... but not the Rydons, mine are the earlier model with the full lens holder, not sure of the model name, couple of years old... but I just have to find 'em!

    all my cufflinks have disappeared-(yay)

now that is a good thing, I vowed never to wear them again after I took down the shingle... so they must have been sensitive and nicked off to a cufflink draw party somewhere else....

would have liked to have at least been able to give them a ritual send off... !
