I couldn't find my MPG player.
It's a imitation iPod shuffle. Actually it's probably a real one but
bought from Hong Kong on eBay for about a third of the price of a "real"
one. About the size of a large postage stamp, 6mm thick, weighs nothing
and gives good sound. It also has a clip that lets you attach it to
your clothing leaving your pockets free.
I looked in the pockets of my cycling jerseys, nope, in my Camelback,
nope, in all the junk that accumulates on the kitchen table, nope, on
the fridge, in the cupboards, everywhere, nope.
OK, I know these things turn up after a while, so I waited a week and
searched again, nope. Waited another week and searched again. Nope!
Well it must be really lost. I order one on eBay for a total cost of
about $35 from Hong Kong, pay for it with Paypal.
Murphys Law says that when you've bought a new one the old one will turn
up. I open my cycling cupboard and there RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME is my
shiny black iPod shuffle. Oh well, it won't hurt to have two of them.
