This is for on-road riding this winter. I've already got the message that I should pay the
extra and get the smart charger, so the question is what wattage lamps and what beam pattern
should I get.
Also, is it worth springing for two lamps, or is one fine?
(Some info - this will be used on unlit lanes, mostly flat, and I tend to cruise around 20mph.
Rides of up to 2 hours).

I've just bitten the bullet and got a set. The fast charger is very good as you don't have to
remember to plug into a timer thingy to avoid over-cooking the batteries.
I ordered the 10W flood and 12W spot these seem more than adequate for my urban to rural commute.
Mostly only use the 10W, using the spot for darker stretches or busy junctions.
I also got the rear light which is much brighter than my cateye TL LD600, BUT if you order the rear
light remember that you will need an extension lead (listed under the accessories section) I forgot
:-( however when I contacted them about my error they sent me one post free :-)
I splashed for the cam lock brackets as they seemed better than the zip ties, no complaints from
them so far.
All in all excellent lights and really good service, well worth the money.
