This is also on cyclingnews now. Mancebo has quit for good. Also a close friend of Jan thinks Jan's career is also over.

I liked Mancebo's claim that if everyone was forced to stick to the code of ethics then only Leblanc would ride tomorrow! Not a graceful loser then Paco...

Paco interviewed in Procycling (this month), comes across as a very level headed guy. No airs or graces.
Fuentes case has obviously been hard on him.

In the recent Pro interview, he talks about life where he grew up (El Barraco)
and the surrounding region.
He grew up with Jose Maria Jimenez, Roberto Heras, Carlos Sastre, Pablo Lastras
and Jesus Hernandez.Comes across as a very humble, quiet man.

After all, he knows more about it than us.

I really like Paco because he doesn't talk [censored] and a lot of people overlook his ability. I did enjoy his procycling interview. He would start talking on tangents and it was most entertaining. I wonder if the chef will poor the Paco Mancebo wine down the drain.

Yeah, the 1lb steaks in the interview sound pretty good too.
And Paco had some kind words for VDB.
I hope his decision to retire isn't final.

I loved his story about VDB. Shame he has gone off the rails too. His region looks very nice and rugged. A bit like Scotland!!!!

Looked Scottish on the day of the interview. Looks the same now in Aberdeen actually.

Since he returned to Spain, he has reconsidered pulling out of cycling for good, but either way his future will not be with AG2R
