Maxxis Flyweight 2.1 Kevlar. Anyone has had any experience with these tires.
Sounds pretty nice,
but how do they perform in the mud? Are they better than your regular
Hutchinsons?

Mud damages them? I though they used kevlar in bullet proof vests!

all the Maxxis I've tried were real fast in the ware
department. -
Never ridden them, but looking at the tread pattern I wouldn't use the
real muddy conditions, maybe in firm to sticky conditions. The small
tread should clear mud pretty quickly.Last time I rode around Houffalize there was alot of mud, but also a
lot of slick rocks and I found a good mud tyre pretty scary on the rock
sections so I ended up with a soft compound mud tyre like a Continental
Slash 2.3.Take easy.
