District Highlands Peak District Yorkshire Dales and such but would like a
bit of a change, maybe river side woodland meadow and quaint villages type
of thing. If anyone has favorite stretches of river, villages or a
particular area we would be grateful for your suggestions.
Thanks,

As someone else has noted, depends on where you are and how far you
want to travel, but Exmoor is good, as is the Isle of Purbeck (as Sandy
has suggested). In fact pretty much all of the SWCP is good, my
personal favorites are the South Hams, especially the stretch from
Start Point round to Hope Cove and North Cornwall (Newquay to Tintagel,
centred on Padstow).
Further north, Northumberland can be good (Coquetdale, Alnwick, the
castles etc)
Wherever you go, enjoy, and let us know what you thought!
