I saw some of you talking about snacking on Meringues. I think I saw an add for them in the WW week
one book. I was just wondering what kind you guys like? Where do you get them?

Hi Amber!
These are the only ones I've tried and most of us have tried too I think???
missmeringue.commissmeringue.comOpen ↗ I got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. The ones I had were French vanilla
and reminded me of eating chalk, but I ate them... lol needless to say they were a no-go for hubby.
Maybe other flavors would be better?

I get the mini sized ones at Pathmark or Stop & Shop. I haven't checked our Shoprite to see if they
carry them. I have also seen them at surplus stores but watch for imitations. Only get the Miss
Meringue brand. The others are horrible.
I like the vanilla ones. My mother likes the chocolate mint chip. They are okay if you like mint. I
don't but I ate them anyway. I'll grab a handful (5 or 6) if I have the need for something sweet. 13
minis are 1 point. They are full of sugar and carbs so if you are trying to limit your carbs they
are definitely a no-no.
Now that you got me on the subject, I think I'll go have a couple....

Trader Joes has its own brand - but the larger ones (I don't think they have the mini version)
I think I just calculated that the 13 are 80 calories which is, I think 1.6 points which is not bad.
There are a whole bunch of flavors.
Some with chocolate chips are actually higher in calories and may contain some fat, so check the
values for the real points.

WW magazine has had a coupon for the Miss Meringues for the past several months. I prefer the mini
Miss Meringues, liked the chocolate raspberry until Fred converted me to the very chocolate (which
now are my fav!). Orange was pretty good - different. Vanilla was rather boring and the coconut I
didn't like much at all. Hubby prefers the larger meringues, triple chocolate chip, double chocolate
chip (see a pattern here?). I buy the Miss Meringues either at Jewel (our local grocery store) or
Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Trader Joes also sells meringue cookies, mint chocolate chip are my favorite from there. Cub foods
seems to have their own brand of meringues also.

We've bought other brands, have not found any difference at all between them and the miss meringues.
Maybe they are different imitations? Cub Foods meringues are good and Trader Joes are wonderful!

These were brands trying to look like miss meringues. I picked them up by accident at a surplus
store thinking that they WERE miss Meringues. Cheap imitiation. Very chalky flavor.
