  1. Has anyone ever used any number of red blood cell increasing (EPO-ish) legal supplements ("steriods"😉...or heard anything about how well they work for endurance? Specifically Methyl-1-P, Methyl-1-A, or the legal versions of Equipoise or Winny-V? Or to start a different thread, does anyone know if these types of supplements are used by top riders (i.e. legal for UCI, USCF, or WADA or whomever tests professional cycling)? I've only ever read about them on bodybuilding websites so no one has ever used them for cycling, but from what I've read they have benefits similiar to EPO (increase red blood cell production) along with lean gains of muscle mass and reducing body fat, and they are easily and legally available anywhere (i.e the internet). Has anyone ever heard of people taking them? They are like EPO but legal, does that still count as cheating? I am very disturbed at the thought that some of the people who consistently kick my butt as races could possibly be taking these supp's legally (and ethically). Any thoughts or comments, please.

  2. Equipoise and Winstrol-V are both controlled substances in the United States and are illegal to have or use regardless of sports federations. Both can be detected by sports organization tests. Equipoise (oil based) will remain in the system longer than Winstrol-V (water based).

I am not familiar with Methyl-1-P or Methyl-1-A so I cannot make a statement.

I have used Equipoise and Winstrol-V back in my competitive days. Both are veterinarian based drugs, but are equally effective on humans. Winstrol-V is one of the more treasured drugs by bodybuilders both female and males because it is more anabolic than androgenic (less likely to aromatase). Winstrol is also known as a "cutting" drug, meaning that competitors like to use the drug to help retain mass during the last weeks of leaning out while maintaining mass. Being that it is water based and more anabolic it has little subcataneous water retention compared to an androgenic drug like Anadrol or Cypionate which gives a more bloated water retention look. Winstrol also effects the vasularity of an individual. If I see a bodybuilding competitor with very prevalent vascularity I would tend to assume that he/she might be using Winstrol.

    Second thought to consider.
Several low life supplement companies that are out for a quick dollar have been adding names to the container that mimick well known steroid names. They mimick the name, but are not spelled exactly the same and have nothing beneficial to performance.

As for the performance of these drugs in relation to competitive cycling I will let someone else comment. Yes, it is cheating if the organization is testing and has a list of banned substances. I am unfamiliar with cycling events, but I imagine those two will be on the list.

    my two cents

  3. Thanks but I'm referring to the legal versions of Boldenone and Winstrol, not the actual roid...like the ones you can find on the internet that at called Equipoise and Winny-V (not referring to the more common names of the actual illegal steriod)...these are obviously not nearly as powerful as real 'roids but they still work very well so I hear...I was just wondering if any one knew of people taking these and if was actually legal for bike racing....

As a benefit to other on lookers of this thread and to perhaps curb their curiousity I quote myself from the first post.

If you are referring to Winny-v (Cyclostanozol) it is fake and a pure waste of money.

There are tons of these sites on the web trying to lure folks into to buying something worthless.

As a protection to this community and for those interested try a Google search for "Cyclostanozol fake" and you will get two type of responses. Those who want to take your money and those who reply that it is fake.

Believe me I have been involved with this subject for 20 years and have been heavily involved in this aspect in former days. My word is good to save your money.

  5. Word...makes sense that those "legal 'roids" were fake...definitley sounded too good to be true (atleast for those willing to spend the money and take the risk)...but I've heard A LOT of positive things about M1P and M1A...I don't know...but with how competitive cycling and how quick riders are to use EPO I can't help but believe that some/many riders have tried these supp's...

  6. Yeah, not sure about the M1P and M1A.

I will try to look into next week.

  7. These so called 'legal steroids' are more toxic to the liver (hepatoxic (sp?)) than their illegal counterparts not to mention being more expensive and less effective!

btw winny will kill your joints without running deca (nandrolone) with it
