MTB Trail Conditions in Santa Fe?

I'm going to be in town from Thursday morning until Saturday. Won't
have a whole lot of riding opportunities, but I'm bringing my shoes
and pedals just in case.

I've done some riding up by a ski lift, popular place, don't know the
name. THe road up passes by some kind of giant whirlpool spa. Anyone
know if that trail is rideable? Any others in the area to recommend?
Are they snowy enough to ski instead?

Also: last time I was there rented a bike from Melo Velo. It was good.
Other suggestions?

Thanks.

Everything is dry for now, but as has been pointed out ... there is a
chance of a storm by Friday. Notaknob.s ~45 minutes south, and I am
~90 min south. Where I am at we are snow free to 10,700 ft and it
looks like it is going to stay that way for a while. If you decide to
make the trip south, we can probably hook you up with a ride.

Weather is warm ...and the beer is cold.
