  1. I ride a 2004 Klein q-pro when i jump hard on a sprint the rear end seems to flex is this normal for this bike or is there something wrong with it.

Is it flexing or is the back wheel shipping?

more likely to be wheels than frame if its a 2004 (unless you are a professional).....what wheels do you have?

    Yeah, what wheels?

I like to use at least as deep as a Mavic CXP33 on the rear for stiffness

You'd know. They are tied together and then soldered for stiffness. Those wheels won't be.

If the wheels are tight and the frames not cracked, I have no idea why you are experiencing a lot of flex on a 2004 frame. Have someone else ride it and get their opinion.

Believe your rear wheel has 24 spokes; you may be feeling it flex when sprinting, particularly if you weigh more than 150 pounds and like to push hammer hard in a big gear. You can gauge the lateral stiffness of the wheel by pushing it side to side against the brake pad; a flexy wheel will hit the pads with fairly easy thumb pressure.

Suggest you try a stiffer, 32 spoke rear wheel just as a test. If the flex is gone, you've found your problem and just need to buy a good 32 spoke rear wheel.

If you can still feel flex even with a stiffer wheel, likely you're feeling the normal frame flex which could only be cured by going to a stiffer frame next time around.
