New Gloves

I've got some Specialized full-finger jobbies for spring/autumn - they have gel in the right place,
(synthetic) suede palms, grippy bits on fingers and stretchy backs, very comfy. Just checking Wiggle
now... bugger, they've changed 'em a bit but the Ridge 2004 is the updated version it seems. Just
under twenty quid, last for ages, machine washable.

I'm surrounded by a nearby plethora of bike shops here in Wokingham, so I can probably try on any
particular type, but I don't have time to visit all of them, so does anyone have any suggestions
of makes/models to go for?

Cheers. Do they have the 'clarino' synthetic leather palms? I my (limited) experience, fake leather
comes in two forms - almost as good as the real stuff, and useless.

These seem to be doing the job. The palms are not real leather though. Airedale Gel.

Agree about Specialized track mitts. They are excellent. They also stand up very well to

Quite seriously, in my student days when there wasn't a lot of money to heat the digs, I used
regularly to type in fingerless gloves. And I certainly _have_ typed in track mits when I've just
come in from a ride and can't be bothered to take them off. No, I have very small hands...

Cool, that's 3 votes for specialized, and I've just found a shop only a 200 yard detour from my
daily commute that stocks them.

Can't find anywhere local that sells them, but I'll try harder if I don't extend my collection of
