  1. Hi all
being relatively new to this WOE I have a bit of a question.
for the past 2 months I have not strayed or cheated at all.
Earlier this week in a moment of weakness and because of lack of planning -
I grabbed a small bag of SunChips to eat on my drive home. 2-3 hrs later I
had the most horrible stomach pains/ache that kept me up most of the night.
But I chalked it up to a stomach bug.
Yesterday I took my kiddo to the movies and gave in to the tempting smells
of the popcorn - 1/2 bag later and with alot of guilt for cheating... Again
last night up all night with the same stomach pains.

So I'm thinking that these 2 Hi-Carb cheating episodes are linked to feeling
horrible & crappy and in pain.

Has this been anyone elses experience or should I chalk it up to
    co-incidence.

If this is what happens when the body gets used to not seeing Hi-Carby
foods - then I'm never cheating or going back "to the dark side" again.

lb above the mini goal weight with 42 days to go)

  2. SunChips are not low carb.

Yes, Sharri, it's pretty common, especially among those at or close to
induction level. I don't know what causes it, and I've never suffered from
this myself, but it is definitely a good deterrent!

It's also a sign you're doing a good job of staying away from starchy carbs.
    Good going!

    HG.

  5. Hey genius, Sharri is a guy?

  7. thanks Sherry & Hannah for our input.
Absolutely no more cheating for me! And I didn't even find that they tasted
all that great - certainly like I remember...lol
I will be trading in my "visions of sugar plums" in for " visions of
cauliflower" to dance through my head..

    cheers
