  1. The duck was beautiful. The downside was that it forced me to do two
long cardio workouts, and 3 lifting workouts. Not quite as much as I
    wanted but apparently enough.
I also controlled my eating very well, and when I got on the scales
    today I was
    down 2 to 193. I'm normal at last 🙂

Next mini goal 189 or 13 1/2 stone

Gotta watch the next week or two. I usually mess up and
binge after hitting a significant target. So I've got to
stay OP for a couple of weeks now.

Thanks for all your support. I couldn't have done this
    without you.

  3. C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ! ! ! ! ! !

Well done with catching that duck with all that exercise.

Remember getting to a goal is not a reason to celebrate with
FOOD. Losing weight alone is not the result you are looking
for. You want behaviors that can be used forever.

Good luck getting the next minigoal

  4. Ray, That's fabulous, congratulations!!

I do the same thing, which is probably why I haven't been
able to budge from the current weight. I see a loss, I get
    excited and want to celebrate.

    You can do this!

  13. That really is a fantastic milestone. For me, I'm still only
just "normal". I find the effort to get much below where I
am now is just too much (both mentally and physically). Good
on you for getting where you are, and having the
determination to stick with it. I'm sure you can do it!

Next time I see a duck in the supermarket I'll leave it in
    the cooler.

I've been at this for nearly two years now. You'd think in
that time I'd be weaned off snickers and other things but
no. I could regress really quick if I relaxed. One thing I
do seem to have beaten is drinking wine and beer. At one
time I couldn't keep a bottle of whicky in th ehouse for
fear of drinking it. Now I have all sorts of drink and very
    rarely take it.

In used to be able to absorb a whole bottle of wine without
too much problem. Now 3 glasses are enough to make me a
little dizzy, and I no longer like the sensation! 2 drinks
will be enough from now on! I will continue to enjoy the
wine, beer, whiskey, whatever, for the flavour: I'm old
enough not to need to drink for the sensation!

  18. If I only had followed my own advice. Well, maybe not
exactly. Too many desserts over a 3 day period. I guess I
could say I was not celebrating weightloss with food but
I knew I was in good shape and maybe took too much
    advantage of that.

Funny, I can now keep lots of chocolate around and not go
crazy, too. But I now do over indulge in some dried fruits -
better than chocolate but still I need to exercise control
because like you say - I could regress very easily and
occasionally do. Maybe I do know enough to catch myself or
    at least, I hope so.

NYC is over and so are dessert-partying behaviors.
