  1. Wife & I joined a few others last night for trail maintenance on Hulls
Gulch. That was too much fun. She ran the big rake, and her hubby, the
    Polaski.

The evening was clear and cool, not too much traffic on what has to be
the busiest trail in Idaho. We rebuilt several water bars, and after 2
and a half hours, were ready for my signature party cooler. Riders
going by were all very thankful.

By the time we got back to civilization, so to speak, the Obsidian
stout mixed with Mirror Pond made an awesome NW Black-N-Tan. That
Brown guy and his party cooler, anyway.

At one point, one of our younger members did an 18+ foot huck that was
truly cool to behold. He was probably 100lbs soaking wet, riding a big
    Bullit.

Thought you all wanted to know this... 😉

ooohhhhhh, Obsidian (in a HS kind of voice)

Would like to have seen the 18 foot huck since I just can't imagine it

went riding this am with one of my more technical efficient riders. Got the
comment that I was doing some pretty daring riding....for me, so I must be
back. Now if my legs and lungs would just cooperate! Was really
disappointed at the "competitive track" at White Tanks. Damn park service
went and made the damn thing a super highway dozing several of the technical
dh sections into 6-lane wide roadway. IMO really bad trail maintenance but
I suppose it took away some liability. Sigh!

That's interesting, as our group leader who works for the parks
department is not a rider, so he would smooth out the sharper bumps and
berms we'd make, so we had a running joke that he was there to make
sure the trail was fully wheelchair accessible.

It was, as a matter of fact, because after the snacks & drinks at the park,
I took her out to dinner at the Reef, a really hopping tropical-motif kind
    of place.

Doing the best to make it, but right now, there's no guarantee. Is that a
promise that we can have all the MP we want???????

  10. I dunno, I've seen Jimbo bend an elbow.. 😉 Remember the McTarnahan's
pitchers when we first met? Jimminy that was a nice afternoon. But
heck, if that's what it takes, consider it a deal!!!!!!!!

My bro-in-law has a MP keg in his downstairs frige with the tap mounted
in the door. He could get us set up with something cool for the whole
    weekend. ---Ball's back to you...

Wow I can see I have quite the reputation for elbow bending :-O
Not that you couldn't see it the second you see me!!!
(my reputation precedes me by quite a bit... if you know what I mean)
I would much rather be remembered for that other hobby that brought me
to Idaho and all those great people and all that great riding...
I even rather be remembered for this over elbow bending
    http://community.webshots.com/photo/173120918/1173428049058204764oKhzSH

not that I would refuse the offer of a post ride beer!!!
