As a veteran of two shoulder operations (second one for a badly torn rotator cuff), I can only say:
good luck!

The recovery is a [censored] (as opposed to eye candy 🙂 -- but gets better pretty rapidly. If you'll
only be sidelined a month (obviously arthroscopic, yes?), you're ahead of the game. I was supposed
to wait three months for the last, more serious one, but rode six weeks to the day after surgery.
(Probably a stupid thing to do, but...)

Well, I can't think of anything more expressive that what I just said when

anyone who has (cause I know its probably just a matter of time for me). Its like a friend once
said, "the only minor surgery is someone else's". Hope it all goes well and heals fast.

It's so weird to voluntarily take yourself out of service. I did the same thing (well, different
kind of minor operation) a couple years back. Never seemed like there was a "best" time; so I
just went ahead and did it (it was spring, FFS!). You'll be glad you did and the downtime will
be worth it.

Did you get the MRI yet to see how extensive the damage yet? The MRI that goes to the hospital is a
high zoot unit that does an excellent job with shoulder images. Check em out if you need to. You can
even tell them that you know me. But they will probably charge you double. He hehe

Yeah, man. I spent my time in the truck. Got a little claustrophobic and made my arm go to sleep but
we got some good pictures. That's how the diagnosis was made.

I had to check out the computer stuff driving that machine while I was there. Pretty cool stuff!

Well good thing my stomach flu didn't hit for a couple more days. I can only imagine how unpleasant
it would have been if I started to spew while in the tube. Probably would have messed something up
