I got behind on posts yesterday. I finally learned how to create my own
ring tones. :-)
There are tons of websites that you can download midi-files from. Ring
tones have to be in midi format, at least for my Motorola. I found a
neat website for midi trimming to keep them short and select the section
of the midi file you want to use:
http://midi.mathewvp.com/midiTrim.htm
I create a 30 second midi on my computer, then simply e-mail the file to
the phone.
I spent a few hours doing that instead of posting on usenet, but I still
got weeding, housecleaning and cooking done too! I uploaded 13 cool
ringtones to the phone, including Axel-F and Baby Elephant Walk.
Lynn is hurting for cash again so I'm not having to do laundry.
It's kinda cool to pay someone else to do that chore... I hate doing
laundry!
Interesting thing, when I go to the multi-media menu, I can e-mail the
ring tones I create to anyone I want. I can't do that with the ones I
bought. Same with graphic files.
