Lori, I'm so sad to read this. You and Curt and family have certainly been
through hellish times. I'm in awe of your strength. I'm wishing strength and

Curt's cancer has definitely mets to his brain. I had thought that for
several months and said so, but told no way. The tumor is the size of a
walnut . He is paralyzed on the left side of his face and has blurred and

everyone here together for the holidays. They give Curt 3-6 months. A
onocology radiologist on another forum said that median survival at this
point is in weeks not months? so who knows. but he's back in the house
(again) he has opted to take his hospice at his mother's house instead of
a
facility. here is out of the question with the boys and me living in this
house later.
so that's the deal right now. fun, huh?

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Curt and your family. I'm so very
sorry to hear about Curt's cancer.

My mother also wanted Hospice at home care for my step father. It certainly
helps to have people around to help you care properly for your loved ones.

I remember Earl going in and out of confusion as well. I just took the time
that we had left and really made certain I communicated and listened as best
as I could.

I just so happened to have started reading a book written by the Dalai Lama
which seemed to help me deal with what was happening.
