In your comcast mailcenter, click on "address book" on the left.

In the address book, click on "import contacts" on the top right.

There are four kinds of data files that it can import:

Palm Pilot ABA
MS Outlook CSV
MS Outlook Express CSV
Netscape Communicator LDIF

Click on the kind that you have--er, we'll get to that later--and then
use the browse function below the kind-of-file box to find it on your
computer.

Then click import.

Now about that nagging little detail of creating the data file . . .

are happy importing and exporting files from spreadsheets, but I

Out of the frying pan and into the fire. Why don't you just use the
webmail program on vecchios.com or pop your mail from there using
Thunderbird, Outlook Express, or some other common mail program. You
can leave this constantly changing corporate e-mail setup behind. I am
certain you have heard the same advice from the person who does your
website.

AOHell might be quirky, but you should be able to cut and paste the entries
I would think. (Hopefully all at once but individually if nec.)

If all else fails, try printing it out just to have a hard copy; then
re-type it all in the new one.

Does AOL mail play well with Outlook or other offline mail management
systems? You could sync to outlook, then backup to a .pst. What I did
was to sync my hotmail to my local Outlook - sync'd to my pocket pc (or
Palm, or Smartphone), then sync'd up with my new Outlook using a
different mail account and it loaded up my contacts there. I think
your issue is goign to be AOL and how well it plays with other systems.

AOL does offer a synch-to-palm program:

Peter might find a friend or customer with a hand-held, synch from AOL
to the handheld, synch the handheld to a program on his computer,
export from the program to an outlook csv, and then import to comcast.

Yes, Comcast imports only those 4 formats, so it's up to you to create
a file on your computer in one of those formats.

To create such a file on your computer from your AOL account . . .

book.
