Steverino, if you are going to post lots of links, could you set your news client so that it doesn't automatically break lines at 76 characters even when there is no whitespace? It mangles all the URLs onto two lines. Thanks.
When the URL is enclosed in angle brackets it can often survive line wraps.

Hmmm... not for me. I'm using Thunderbird. Anyone know where the setting for this is in t-bird?

Edit->preferences->advanced->config editor, and look through the settings (equivalent to about:config in firefox). For the record, I set the variable news.wrap_long_lines to false and it doesn't fix this issue.

The RBR rule is to use angle brackets if you think that Ewoud will be readig the threa. Otherwise not.
If you think Ewoud will be reading the thread you should also top post and mention Andy Hampsten famous win when it snowed on the Gavia. He even trolls himself about the latter.
