  1. I submit that on or about Thu, 21 Jul 2005 21:38:19 GMT, the person
known to the court as "Sniper8052(L96A1)" <[email hidden]>
    made a statement (<[email hidden]> in
Your Honour's bundle) to the following effect:

    Quoted message said:

Just to say if we do happen to slot someone related to this group by
accident could you all have your ICE numbers in your mobiles so we know
who to call to deny responsibility.

It's a marvellous idea slightly let down by the fact that anybody who
sets the phone to lock out as an anti-fraud measure will render the
    ICE number inaccessible...

You could always try writing emergency contact numbers on the back of
the phone using an indelible pen, I suppose...

It takes me about 19 minutes to cycle in from home to work in Victoria
and about 25 to cycle home. The inbound journey is made between 5.30
and 6.00 in the morning. If I get up late it takes much longer to make
it in. After 7.00 it almost becomes quicker to walk.

    Quoted message said:

Surely there is something wrong there? I cycle through Kennington Oval past
Victoria to Hyde Park, and my journey time hardly changes regardless of the
traffic. Sometimes I go early Saturday/Sunday mornings, sometimes at the
peak of rush hour during the week.

The increse in journey time is due to the traffic believe me.
Camberwell New Road ends up as two lanes of stationary traffic
approaching the tube station. The bus/cycle/taxi lane is useless as it
is full of bus :-( Then once over Vauxhall Bridge, VBR is again two
lanes of stationary traffic. It takes far longer to ride those roads
at rush hour than it does at o' dark thirty.

You don't overtake on the right hand side? :O I'm not going to wait behind
all the smelly cars and buses when there's no reason to. I don't get a
significant change in journey time at all, regardless of commuting during
rush hour or the quietest hours.

Strange. I thought they ran on batteries nowadays.

Nah, being from the southern hemisphere, polarity is reversed so
    batteries are rendered useless ;-)

srcatching the clamps together with good connections to the good

THe second time AS the breaking news story was coming on.. (But in that
2 mins 3 people had rung me asking after her 🙂

Blimey Sniper. Given Friday's events, you must have see in to the

Fairy nuff, but we must be doing something radically different given that
    you experience a delay and I don't.

Possibly caution learned from too many incidents of cabbies pulling
U-ies and nincompoops doing unanounced right turns across me. I've
    still got the scars :-(

Just been out on the old racing iron over Crystal Palace to Croydon -
boy those hills have got steep and I've rediscovered how bad my hack
    iron is :-(

I really hope I'm not being reckless. I don't think so though, I'm pretty
    cautious by nature.

Hills are fun fun fun, well I need to do lots before the Tour of the Surrey
Hills in a month's time. 15kg of 'bent is tough work on hills, but at least
I'm not carrying any extra bodyweight now.
