You never know. They might do it if you are "apprehensive" enough. ;-)

I know one OB-GYN that had to hospitalize one young (17 yo) girl that
was pregnant and dose her with Demerol just to get her pre-natal lab
work drawn. She was that terrified of needles......

Her mother was a nurse that worked there and helped us hold her down
when the time came. Sheesh!
