  1. I *must* ask out of curiousity now.
Why *anytime* I post *anything* you continue to bring *him* up?

I've moved on. Why can;t you?

Apparently not - since you never miss an opportunity to tell us how he
    dun you wrong.

Why did you devote 9 lines of details about HIM in your response to my
post if you've moved on? Why was it important to you to come into a
group where you have alienated so many people ostensibly to give away an
obsolete book and offering to spend several times its value to mail it
at your own expense? Why are you coming back into a group that, like
clockwork, you'll leave in a huff ... again?

Because I keep scratching my head wondering why *YOU* bring him up everytime
    I post something?

Because I thought that maybe someone *might* like it just for it's
history. People who are on DANDR might like to read it just for the pure
    enjoyment
of *reading* to see what the differences were in the diet from then to now.
I know that was why I bought the book in the first place.
As for the cost in mailing it.......there is next to none. I can mail things
    for free.
The only thing it costs me is the minute to drop it into the appropriate
    bin.

I'd love to know how you use Canada Post 'for free.' I'm sure they
    would too.

why don't you answer the question *saffy*?

What was the question? Oh yeah, Jaime asked: "Why *anytime* I post
*anything* you continue to bring *him* up?"

The answer to that in THIS case is that I was getting annoyed at an
ongoing discussion about something that was never the intended purpose
    of the post.

The last time I brought him up (first name only, and NO name at all this
time) was when Jaime was blaming Atkins for her heart attack here and in
another diet newsgroup. I merely pointed out some other, pre-existing
factors that would have contributed FAR more to that outcome than Atkins
would have in a mere 10 months, her extreme EXTENDED stress levels over
the breakup with her boyfriend being one of them. Again, I was getting
annoyed because, while the point of many of Jaime's posts is usually
transparent to those who are familiar with her history, someone who is
NOT familiar with them might take her at face value. It's not my job to
bring them up to speed, but when I get annoyed, I do.

That and Jaime just brings the snarky out in me, even when I'm not
feeling particularly snarky. It's not one of my better qualities, but
    there it is.

The *intended* purpose of my post was to give away a book. I merely added
    the reason WHY I was
thinning out my book collection in case anyone asked why I was giving books
    away.

There were no other intended purposes and you are a fool for thinking so.

As I said before....I've moved on and my present life reflects that. You
need to let go of whatever grudge you feel for me.
I'm NOT going to pretend that my life (romantically and otherwise) isn't
much better now just because YOU do not wish to hear about it. I'm also not
going to run away from this newsgroup because you feel some need to attack
me anytime I wish to post.

This was NOT the only forum that I posted that book offer in but this was
the ONLY one where I had to defend myself against YOUR false
accusations....and before you accuse me of something else.....I used the
exact same post in every other low carb forum.

As for the book...it is now taken and I hope the new owner enjoys it.

Why do you feel the need to decide for everyone who is "good" or "bad" in
this newsgroup? It seems like you are snarky more and more of the time.

I don't make decisions for ANYONE in this newsgroup -- it's not like I'm
a moderator. I warn newbies about JC in my weekly tips post, but THAT
doesn't count as snarky because he's a known troll whose sole purpose
here is to stir up [censored]. Jaime tends to stir up [censored] here, too, but
it's not usually for SAKE of randomly stirring up [censored] -- her [censored]-
disturbing usually has a POWERFUL force driving it and is cyclic in
    nature.

    Quoted message said:

Nah, I'm snarky and get into it with Jaime. Her very NAME conjures all
kinds of memorable mayhem from my very first days in this newsgroup, and
whenever she pops up here yet AGAIN, it just sets me off.

That said, that's no excuse for allowing my inner [censored] to escape here
for the afternoon. I stand by my opinion of the REAL reason she posted
about giving away a book, but she was being obliquely coy, not
inflammatory and I should have just let it slide -- *I* was inflammatory
and I apologize for disturbing the newsgroup with it. I will stifle
myself here on the subject and won't bring he-who-shall-remain-nameless
up again unless she does (at which point all bets are OFF).

JC is not a known troll just because you don't agree with him. And once
again, you're trying to moderate the group.

No, if I were trying to moderate the group, I would be able to ban YOUR
    posts because you *ARE* JC.

Did you figure that out all by yourself?

There's a difference between trying to moderate the group and having the
ability to moderate the group. The former belongs to you and not the latter.
