MADRID, Nov 30 (CP) - Francisco Mancebo Perez has found a new team for next season, GAM-Relax. This means that the Spaniard will not retire, as opposed to his declarations after having his name mentioned in Operacion Puerto.
Mancebo rode for Banesto and its successor Caisse d'Epargne since 1998, but joined Ag2R Prévoyance at the start of last season. The Spaniard finished five times in the top-10 of the Tour de France and once won the young riders classification.
In the Vuelta a España, the former national champion achieved some good results as well, occupying the third spot on the podium twice.
Earlier, GAM-Relax also attracted Santiago Perez, who was suspended the past two years for the use of doping, and Comunidad Valenciana's Julian Sanchez
