I'm gonna do my damndest. If we could somehow fix it closer to the first week in July, that would be
sweet. The second week is always a [censored] due to family reunions and the [censored] of folks when I
don't attend. 🙂 But I am not the planner, just some poor doofus along for the ride.

Real popular right now is the second weekend of August. How's that sound to everybody?

The earlier plan for up to Duck Lake/down 20 Mi Creek is fine by me, outside McCall, but if there's
any interest in going a little further (for those coming down from the north) we could do some Sun
Valley riding that would be pretty cool, too.

I went up to Bogus Basin on Friday and it was the best day I've ever had! 12-48" of very light
powder on EVERYTHING...even more in certain off-trail locations. WOW! I felt like I was
flying...bottomless turns all around, on me!

There was about 5" in my driveway yesterday, and there appears to be more than that being deposited
right now.

and I'm a little dead today. It's arctic today here, -8 on the mountain so I am staying home. What
kind of boards do you ride ( alpine, tele, snow...?)

XC for me today on the Mesa. It was 0 degrees and sunny at 10,800. Breaking trail in 2' of new
powder is work.

I was hoping to make it across this year, but it's been a while since I emigrated somewhere, so I'm
thinking of doing that instead.

Awesome, and today, at -0-f, clear and sunny, looks absolutely perfect. I haven't gotten up to Bogus
yet, but others who have rave about the awesome snow just like you. Best in 10yrs they say. Been too
busy visiting inlaws and outlaws. I thought of xc-ing around the neighborhood yesterday, but a
Sunday nap won out.

McCall works great for me - never been to Sun Valley in the summer, tho'.

Penny - thanks for the icebike site. I tried some of the stuff on Saturday, just around the nearby
parks. Riding through deep snow is work. 🙂 Riding on the nearby roads, through the "car snot" was
quite amusing, and a bit of a challenge. But since it's not going to get much above 5 degrees for
the next couple of days, I think I'll sit in and drink. Maybe even go for a spin on the trainer.

oh I can get around on my tele gear, but I can ski anything on my alpine ( I may drop my back hand a
little <G>😉 What I really need to do is hang up the alpine gear for a season or two and ski tele
exclusively so I can break through to the next level, but I am having way to much fun as it. Plus, I
can keep up with Mr Adventure ( tele only) if I have my alpine gear on, I am relegated to "ah jeez
we need to wait for her" if I'm teleing around.
