I started getting a dull pain on my right foot between the joint of my big
toe and the toe next to it. It starts to hurt if I stand for long periods,
in middle of a run and walking after a run. I started elevating it today and
am wearing shoes around the house. ( we have tile floors)
If I press on it with my fingers it doesn't hurt, only when I walk/run on
it.
Any suggestions on how to get rid of it without shutting down my running?
Carlton.

Carlton.Maybe you have a morton's neuroma. I had this problem a couple
years ago. Here's my post from rec.running that describes it:http://makeashorterlink.com/?K6FB13DC2

Well, I sure wouldn't run on it. But that's up to you. Try cycling or
some other low impact exercise for a while and see if it goes away.
And/or see a podiatrist. No one here is going to be able to diagnose
it for you."Carlton Whitmore" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:<[email hidden]>...

Running is what caused your injury. Getting rid of it without giving up
running, is like a heroin junky wanting to get clean, but still shoot
up. -
