I just received my very first Fiesta - two 1 qt bowls bought from Amazon
$11.99 each. Both have a little raised white (no glazed coloring on these
pinhead/pimple) on the inside bottom of the bowl. I saw these immediately
on opening. They feel (raised) like you'd like to scrape them off with your
fingernail.
Since I had a previous experience with Amazon when buying their $125 Home
Products with $25 off, and free shipping and I had a flawed container in
their shipment, I returned it and when said and done, they rebated me less
money than I had paid for it, plus I had shipping costs to return it - as I
recall it -- but it was a big pain and money-wise it was not worth it.
Needless to say, this will 'probably' be my last call to save money thru
Amazon's $25 off & free shipping offer. What I will have to do is consider
these flawed bowls my $25 savings and say to heck with it. BUT-- I hope my
$38 Kaiser pan is not flawed -- then I will really be -- well, I will not
say the word!
Since you've bought so many of the Fiestaware, I'm wondering what your
thoughts are regarding the safety of eating in these bowls with this
pinhead flaw.
AARRRGGGGGGGH>>>>>>>>>>>
Off to eat my oatmeal without using my new bowls. Boy, they know how to put
a damper on my day!
