So when your having a conversation with someone DRS you repeat the question before you give your answer ?
There's a difference between a spoken conversation and a written conversation. And there's a difference between a one-on- one email conversation as opposed to a group discussion as is Usenet.
When one wades through multiple posts from multiple people, one needs a little reminder about what the heck we were all talking about in the first place.

Actually, it's an accepted practice in debating circles - repeating the question keeps the focus on what is being discussed.

We are not having a verbal conversation. We are on Usenet, a different medium with different requirements.
