During one of our regular rides, Suzanne and I usually stop at a place we call "kissing point". It's the highest point in this particular area of woods; we usually stop, take a little breather, and kiss. On today's ride, I pulled out a ring box and "popped the question". She said yes!

During one of our regular rides, Suzanne and I usually stop at a place we call "kissing point".
It's the highest point in this particular area of woods; we usually stop, take a little
breather, and kiss.
On today's ride, I pulled out a ring box and "popped the question". She said yes!

I wanted to do something cool like that but choked under pressure* and had to propose over lunch.
Luckily it all seemed to work out ok.

wanted to know what the box in my jacket was. I dodged the question and asked her out to a
fancy lunch...

Congratulations. Wish I'd been riding when I proposed but mountain bikes were just a twinkle in
somebody's eyes then.
