"Crazed Australian arrested tackling cyclists"
"A dishevelled and apparently psychotic Australian man
has finally been arrested after a spate of incidents in
Central London. The victims report the man tackling
them from their bikes whilst screaming "Do you know
the Hawthorn Velodrome?!?! Do you know a dot b
Dave?!?!"."hippy

That's what I figured! I don't see the point (other than
the obvious bike lust syndrome) to buying another bike
when I have a few perfectly acceptable ones here. How did you go with locking it up? I've heard bike theft
is rife over in London. I've not had to deal with bike
security here, having left bikes in my office all the time.
I think I'm going to take the Pugeot over. I don't mind
commuting on it and I might be able to race it?hippy

Sara has had 5 nicked. (I think) Its aparently what insurance is for 🙁
Over a 15 year period, yes.
Quoted message said:
I checked and it looks like the house insurance would in fact cover
it.. yeah even in london. But I took both locks.. the cable and the
Kryptonite.. and I hardly ever left it out of my sight., And yeah I
copped flack for that too.Ahem. Bike locked outside a small pub in a very nice, crime-free
suburban street. Dave runs outside every 10 mins to make sure it's
still there. Couldn't ride to the nice bit of Bushy Park because it
would mean leaving the bike parked, and that was not going to happen.I have a small house that doesn't have a lot of extra room, on his
second trip I insisted that bikes are outdoor pets and Dave's bike had
to live in the garden with mine. Guess what? It didn't get nicked.--

the commute from Hampton to Kingston. I passed roughtly 1600 cars and
4 passed me. It depends where you are and where you are going just
like here but a lot of routes you would be mad to use a car. Apparently
tho many many people are mad.Motorcycles or pushbike for commuting in london I think
Dont know anything about racing thereDave
