Race Routes, profiles and historical results, coherent resource(s)?

I always seem to be searching for course profiles and related tech
info about the course, especially those races that have run over the
same or simialar courses. Some of my favorites are the monumental
single-day races. The 2 Italian monuments are the most interesting to
me, but the 2 in Benelux are almost as interesting and probably more
important to a rider's career and comparing each route year to year,
and to one another is something I have always enjoyed. Now that the
Tour stages are so well-documented by ASO on their site(s), I have a
decent archive of my own that I have saved. I would like to do the
same for the monuments, and for the other grand tours, like maybe the
top 5 or so national Tours (3 GTs + German, Swiss, Colombia, and the
few others year to year that ebb and flow in importance through the
years). Some of the tours that were once amateaur and pro/am with lots
of history like the Dauphine, D'Avenir, and so on probably raises the
number to a dozen or so, but only when I can see the courses to
determine how selective the stages were. I think the Internet has
created phenomenal opportunities for any sponsor and race organizer to
leverage the investments made by ensuring easy (web) access to anyt
data that supports these investments (ie the teams and race results).
In spite of the obvious examples of those who do, I am under-whelmed
at what I actually find. The UCI and other organizations involved
(federations etc.) are also in line to easily benefit from a little
more investment in creating ways for interested parties to access the
same data I looking for.

Aside from the Grand Tours and the few (specialty) news sites like
Velonews and Cyclingnews, where would you look for this kind of data?
