Down 1.4 pounds from last week, official results gave me 130.6 this morning. I'm feeling much better and positive this week (am afraid I have sent my *crash and burn* mode to Lesanne) and hopefully have finally moved away from all the holiday problems.
I was pretty diligent with the treadmill for a change - managed to squeeze 5 days into the mix ... yesterday I was just plain lazy, and the other day I missed was spent tackling mount laundry (about 20 loads ... up and down stairs all day long). Another week starts ...........

Weigh to go, Joyce! Congratulations for flushing out another 1.4 this week ;-D Elaine K

Good Maintenance. I think THE NORMALS also have up days and weeks and down days and weeks. That's probably life. Altho, I don't know if Normals do that many loads of laundry in one day (g)

Glad to hear the January doldrums have lifted. Terrible to be living in that fog.
Major congrats on the decrease this week. Can't say I envy the 20 loads of laundry, though. This is one time I don't mind saying "better you than me!" <G>

I'm sorry to butt in here and ask a personal type of question, so feel free to ignore me, but...
If your personal goal is 140is and you are currently 130.6 why are you still trying to lose weight? Or do I misunderstand somehow?
Sometimes when we reach the WW goal, we realize that we actually want to be slimmer than that (and still stay within the healthy range) and that we can do so. I am actually at a normal weight right now, I simply want to be just a little bit thinner for two reasons: 1) it looks better 2) It gives me the freedom to pig out once in a while and not do terrible damage. I lost 5 lbs these past 3 weeks, and those five lbs actually made the difference between normal and chubby. If I lose another 5 lbs, I will still look "normal", although I should gain 5 lbs over a holiday or vacation...
Thanks Elaine. And I DO think they were flushed out - I finally have gotten the water consumption back up to where it should be. <G> Of course, it's the same 1+ pounds that I seem to always be playing with ... but guess that doesn't really matter. <G>

I may be slow answering, but I definitely won't ignore. <G> Many people here will tell you I am the queen of wishy-washyness (hence the *ish* in the personal goal). When I set the personal goal I wasn't really sure if that was where I would stop, if I would be happy, or if I could even make it - but it sounded good. Then we got to talking about *clothing allowances* figured into our plans. I follow ww at home so weigh in nekid ... if I was at 140 and went to the dr to weigh, I would assume my weight will be 5 pounds higher ... so I continued further down to 135. THEN talked to my dr. as to what he thought was a good weight for my age/height/body build ... he said 135 lowest - but of course I forgot to ask him if that was clothed or unclothed. LOL Soooooooo, once again that clothing allowance began a mind game with me and I have been shooting for *around* 130. I just never got around to changing my personal goal, and probably will still leave it alone. I keep 135 in my head as my danger zone - reach that and I definitely have to kick things into gear.
I hope I make sense somewhere in that long winded explanation. <G>

Never said I was normal though, did I? Although, 20 loads of laundry does seem to be the norm in my household lately. There are times I swear that 19 of those loads belong to the teenage girl in the house. <G> No, truthfully ... gotta remember ... 3 of us here at home (counting teenager as a single unit), then the college student who drags his laundry home and deposits it for me to have done when he departs on Sunday ... and I am doing my mothers laundry in a valiant attempt to save what little $$$ of hers I can (rather than paying the nursing home to do it). I tend to do mom's seperately from the rest of the family - after the outbreak of scabies, I'm not taking any chances. <G>
But the down this week was nice to see. I feared those few up pounds may have become permanent holiday damage. I'm glad to be back where I want to be, or at least somewhere closer.

Thanks Krys. I hope the positivity (hmmmm, did I just make up a word???) sticks with me this time around. I do think the exercise has a direct bearing on my mood. It's hard to get myself going, but once I do I sure do feel better.
