Raichle Scout boots

Excellent boots but can't compare with Brashers - never had any.

Raichle boots are very well made.

Brashers are, or were, excellent too. Very light weight leather boots, with
goretex. I've heard some reports that they've gone downhill in recent years
though.

Most of Google's results suggest Raichle Scout is an average boot, very
lightweight in that they will not carry a heavy 'load' or perform that well
with loaded pack.
Not that many reviews for the Scout but the Hillmaster still seems to get
very good reports even recently.

That's a bit strong to say they will "not carry a heavy load" We're
discussing boots not a bloody donkey !

Not that lightweight. They seem sturdy enough to me.

They've performed just fine with my loaded pack. But I don't load nearly as
much weight as I used to.
