John Wendel said:Dr.Andrew B.Chung if EKG and ECHO are better tests for diagnosis of all
old small heart attacks than cardiac PET viability study, what would
specificity and sensivity be for EKG and ECHO (TTE) and also for
cardiac PET viability study?Thanks
Sensitivities and specificities of 99% and 99% would be expected for an
astute cardiologist combining the information from an EKG and Echo with a
good history and physical exam. Cardiac PET would be 90-95% and 90-95%.
