I used Loctite on the hub bolt, let it set for a day. Yesterday
afternoon took my Uni for a ride down a great MUni single track with
some big-ish (well for me anyway) drops. After the ride the crank was
still seriously tight. Will need to monitor for a little while still to
feel confident that it worked ok, but for now I'm a lot happier. Thanks

My pleasure...what you should do now, is take some white out, or even a
sharpie marker if it will show up, and make a line the crosses the top
of the bolt and the crank.

this way, you can make a quick visual inspection...if that line is
still intact, your bolt is still tight.
