    What a great race the finals will be.

    6 swimmers under 15 minutes...in prelims.

    Davies, Jensen, and Hackett. Davies and Jensen are going to be racing
    each other, for sure. Hackett could be anywhere, from 5 seconds
    behind them both to 2 seconds aread.

    Ziegler/Manaudou was the best race of the meet...so far. There is
    nothing but nothing like a great distance race. Nothing more boring
    than a distance race blow out, but nothing in (individual) swimming
    more exciting than a head to head distance duel.

    Yes, the 1500 should be great. Too bad Park isn't there.

    I would say the women's 800 and men's 100 fly were both the best races of
    the meet. In the 800, these two will go at it again for another epic battle
    next year in WR time.

    There's no stopping Phelps next year except for Phelps himself (injury,
    illness, etc.)... who will bet against it?

    The negative changeover was only -0.04 second, one hundredth of a second
    more than the allowable tolerance, but this is enough. They should have
    adopted the strategy employed by the Australian Women's Medley Relay the
    previous night, who had very conservative changeovers but still broke
    the World Record.

    The pundits said Crocker had the best chance of stopping Phelps from
    winning eight golds--turned out to be right!!
