I found a pair of wraparound blue blockers with polarized lens for about $15 at a Wal-mart of all places. Since they weren't really sunglasses I put some 20% pass window tint film on the lenses for a 10% total light pass. Since the sun gets sooo bright on a clear day the 10% of the light that gets through is just fine with me. At night I take them off and have pretty much cat type night vision. It's cheap, not stylish, but sure gets the job done. Bill Baka

Sure can, but the computer wants to have the sun on it for good contrast. It's the computer, an el-cheapo Schwinn with a so-so LCD display. Besides, we all know that seeing the road is the really important part, and that is much easier without the sun blinding of no sunglasses. Since they are total wrap arounds, it also keeps my eyes safe from debris and side winds, which always make my eyes water and get all salty. I did a whopping 30 miles in the mountains yesterday before I realized that it was over 90 degrees and I was out of shape from the winter. 'nuff about that, I need to ride more. Bill Baka
