We're driving down on Saturday and heading back to Buffalo early Monday
morning, as long as our legs aren't too cramped up to drive ;-). We're
crashing with a buddy up in Washington Heights, and plan to start all
official-like at 110th St. at 6:00 A.M. Sunday.

If your cell number hasn't changed, I still have it. It would be fun if
we can hook up.

Hmm.... Track bike, or rebuild the hot pink fixie...? A brake might be

I had to strip the pedals off my MTB last night and put them on the
fixie. The old pedals on the fix (some mid-range Shimano SPD, I forget
the model number) were total [censored]. It is not surprising you can't find
that model for sale any more. I think it was the stresses from the fix
that did them in: they were put together with little Phillips-head
screws on the ends of the pedal which kept unscrewing and falling out
as I rode. Very frustrating.
