I don't know of anyone stocking the SON in Cambridge, but you could
always ask your usual shop(s) if they could get one in.

General opinion seems to be that the better Shimano hubs are very nearly as
good as the SON for half the price, but there are uk.rec.cycling posters
who have used both and can give you a better answer.
And even the cheaper recent Shimano hubs are better than the early ones.
