So you tried to pass a turning car on the inside?

What part of "turning right" don't you understand? You know, cars who
turn right, from the other lane, right in front of you, thinking that
they are a skilled driver, they will beat the cyclist who was doing
40km/h, and was only 10m from the side-street.

Or is it we are just too small to see - smaller and less important
than a police radar, so it doesn't matter?

While were at stupid drivers turning right, into the path of a

Dickwad driver tries to overtake GPL's car, who is patiently waiting
for a cyclist to come down the hill. Dickwad fails to fire a couple
of neurons in his two-bit brain, and ends up almost running into the
cyclist. No brakes are going to save you in that situation.

it was critical as it could be read either way.

Either way, I like how you blamed the cyclist for the "turning, right
in front of me" situation that you interpreted it as.

If you overtake me, then turn left in front of me, depending on the
distance involved, you may still be at fault. One of the laws in
question is something about "obstructing traffic". You can't just
overtake someone, then slam on your brakes and turn in front of
them[1].

Well, you're welcome to try doing that in front of an 18 wheeler. The
consequences would actually be entertaining, as long as you only took
out yourself.

[1] Reminds me of the time when I almost rear-ended a car whilst doing
100km/h in an 100km/h zone. You would automatically put me at fault,
because rear-ending is almost exclusively the fault of the person
doing the rear-ending. But in my case, it was some luser overtook me
at 120km/h, swerved into my lane, then noticed the guy in blue and
white with a radar gun, and slammed his brakes on to bring him down to
80km/h, when he had only cleared me by about 5-10m. Didn't have the
presence of mind to get the [censored] booked.

It's only a right in the legal sense and depends on everyone doing the
"right" thing. The same applies to the right of free speech, the right
to be judged by your peers, your right to the presumption of innocence
or the right to vote. Just as an oppressive government can ignore or
remove your rights, a bigger vehicle can remove your right of way. It's
only a right if the opposition allow you to have it.
