I did, but I was fine, thanks to a fellow cyclist.
I was half way through a 400k Audax, at a control point around 9am when one
of my riding companions can up to me and, realising I am of fair skin, said
"are you OK for sun-block?" I said I had forgotten to bring any; he had a
camera-film-container of suncream which he shared with me. Yet another
example of cyclists looking out for each other.
