If I could only have one book, it would have to be "the bible" for me:

    lance&s=books

  3. Two that we recommend and sell quite a few of:

The Triathlete's Training Bible by Joe Friel
    tri-specialties.comdetailproduct.asp

    and

Training Plans for Multisport Athletes by Gale Bernhardt
    tri-specialties.comdetailproduct.asp

I keep both in stock. Also makes a good Christmas gift item.

    Hi John,

I really love "The Triathletes Training Bible" by Joe Friel. It has a great planning system that
everybody can adapt to their liking.

Another great book is Terry Laughlins "Total Immerion" which teaches a swimming technique that is
    great for triathlon swimming.

Out of all the Tri books i've read over the last 7 years, the best by far is "The Complete Guide to
    Endurance Training" by Jon Ackland

  8. I have found the Dave Scott and Mark Allen books a good read too.

But as most have said the JF book and Gordo's book are good too.
