Recommendations for frame refinish?

Where? I got a frame powder-coated by a place in NE Philly that I would go back to for the next
project. Great-looking, durable finish. Check out a powder-coater near you. It's cheap -- about the
same as you would spend to strip and spray it yourself.

check the powder coaters finishing temperature before you do this and then check with your frame
manufacturer!!! some steel and most aluminum frames can be negatively affected by the temperature to
which some powder coats are heated.

If you're in the DC area, Grant Soma. No question about it. He paints for Hollands (or did when I
knew him...) He used to ride BMW Charcoal Grey Metallic bikes. Very nice.

Ask Hollands about him. He does VERY good work!

Other posters have already recommended powder coating, and I'll go one step further and recommend
Spectrum Powderworks in Colorado Springs. They specialize in bicycles, so I suppose they understand
the temperature issues alluded to previously, and they did a timely, reasonably priced, and accurate
job for me that looks just as shiny and smooth as wet paint yet seems to be more durable.
