Removing BB races? Without Proper Tool?....

Hammer and a punch is the official way to remove these, yarr! Friction
fit as far as I know.

You can install using a large c-clamp and some blocks of wood.

They should know out fine with a broad punch, were you moving the area
of impact around or just hammering at one place.

There is not really a commonly known/accessible way of getting them
out with zero percent chance of damage. There's no "actual tool" in
this case. You might try to figure out a small chunk of wood that you
could get in there that could hit two opposite sides of the race at
once. Or just figure out a way of using a small wood block as a punch.
Or if you haven't yet tried a really broad punch, that would be good.

On the bright side, if the BB does get messed up, even the nicest one
available, the Odyssey Dynatron, is still really cheap.
