  1. remember those front headlights that wouyld rub on your front wheel and lightup,
anyone know where i could get one for old times sake🙂

  2. Not sure man! but I had one when I was a kid. Had it mounted on my 3 speed banana bike! What a blast. I remember having trouble going fast enough to get the light bright enough. Kind of goes against all logic. Here's a light to make you safer, but you need to ride faster than you do in daylight to see where you're going!

I'll keep my eyes peeled... or my ears on alert 'cause you can hear those things coming!

  3. What you're looking for are "dynamo lights", and very much still available. You'll probably find more web sites about it that are Europe-based, where traditional 'town/city' cycling is more commonplace.

Modern ones usually use a generator inside the wheel hub, rather than running against the tyre.

Even Shimano make a set 🙂

Try St. Kilda cycles as they stock Lumotec, Schmidt and others. If you are in Australia.

For the USA, Peter White is the place to get them from.

    Cheers

  5. Harris Cyclery carries the Busch & Müller Dymotec tire driven lighting generators.
