r.b.rides, r.b.soc, r.b.misc and, as others have said, r.b.tech. A bike is just a bike. The roadie
rides a 'road bike'.

My favorite forum of all is at www.serotta.com, and I go there even though I don't own a Serotta road bike. Most of the topics are general in nature and can apply to the majority of riders.

Is there something you're missing in this newsgroup? rec.bicycles.tech predominately fields
road-bike questions, with most mountain-bike & recumbent issues going to their own newsgroups. You
still find mountain-bike issues being discussed here as, if it's tech-related, it's certainly
appropriate, but it would seem that road-bike issues are the norm.
