I'm not usually a fan of herbal or flavoured teas. Green and black are
normally what I drink, but this tastes quite good. Someone at work that used
to live in South Africa brought some in and offered me a cup just before I
was going to make some green tea. Apparently it is naturally caffeine free.
It doesn't look "leafy" like most teas that I am familiar with.
I just recently bought some as I figured it would be great to have in
the evening. It was about $6/100gr.(Canadian$) at a specialty tea shop here
in Calgary. Actually most of the teas were around that price and about 3.5
ounces should last me a while.
Somebody here posted some time ago with a few beverages that they
enjoyed, and Rooibos was one of them, but I never knew what it was. A few of
the other guys at work say they like it better than green tea, so I don't
know why it isn't a more popular type that is available in grocery stores.
